Century Park Hotel

Given the opportunity, I was looking forward to seeing the renovated rooms of Century Park (only the Deluxe Rooms and Corner Suites are renovated). Although the rooms were renovated last November 2009, it would be nice to see an older and familiar 5-star hotel in the Bay area getting a facelift.

The foyer/elevator landing. An indication of the overall look of the renovated rooms (that's me being reflected on the mirror!)

So far, no annoying cigarette smell which is not always the case in Non-Smoking floors
Deluxe Room
The bed and the bathroom is divided by a half glass wall (with roller blinds). Everything feels and smells 'new'.

Bed comes with the standard duvet with the updated headboard reading lights. The throw pillows look a bit off though in my opinion

The bath room looks very inviting and clean as a whistle

View (or the lack of it) from the window

Deluxe rooms come with a 42" (?) inch LCD TV
Corner Suite
The only difference between the Deluxe Room and the Corner Suite is basically the view and the living room that is afforded to the Corner Suite

You get a 'sea' view from the Corner Suite although a number of buildings (Legaspi Tower and Central Bank) are blocking the overall view
Its nice to see that Century Park Hotel took the initiative of renovating their worn out rooms although hopefully they will extend the renovation to their Superior Rooms and the other facilities of the hotel (restaurant outlets, function rooms/ball room, etc)
